Description

This was taken at Phelps Lake in Grand Teton National Park. This is the most incredible lake I have ever seen. While the lake in places like the North Cascades may have more dramatic back drops, the simplicity and calmness of this lake make it special. This was taken in the early morning and the first hike we did in the Tetons. After spending the day in Grand Teton National Park this lake remains our favorite. We sat on the bench along the lake shore for almost an hour, neither one of us wanting to leave. It was one of the most incredible places I have ever experienced in my life.
